Why Customize Your Branding?
Customizing your logo and colors makes your job board look professional and matches your company's brand. This helps job seekers recognize your brand and creates a more cohesive experience.
Step 1: Go to Appearance Settings
In your dashboard, navigate to "Settings" and then "Appearance", "Branding", or "Customization".
Step 2: Upload Your Logo
To add or change your logo:
- Click "Upload Logo" or "Change Logo"
- Select an image file from your computer
- Make sure your logo is clear and in a common format (PNG, JPG, or SVG)
- For best results, use a logo with a transparent background (PNG)
Tip: Your logo should be high quality but not too large in file size. Aim for under 2MB.
Step 3: Adjust Logo Size
After uploading, you may be able to adjust the logo size. Make sure it's not too large or too small on your job board.
Step 4: Choose Your Colors
Set your brand colors:
- Primary Color: This is your main brand color, used for buttons, links, and highlights
- Secondary Color: An accent color for variety
- Background Color: The main background color of your site
- Text Color: The color of your main text
Step 5: Use Color Pickers
Most customization pages have color pickers that let you:
- Click to open a color selector
- Choose a color from a palette
- Enter a specific color code (hex code like #FF5733) if you know it
Step 6: Preview Your Changes
Before saving, use the "Preview" button to see how your changes will look. Make adjustments if needed.
Step 7: Save Your Changes
When you're happy with how it looks, click "Save" or "Update". Your changes will appear on your job board immediately.
Tips for Good Branding
- Use colors that match your company's existing brand
- Make sure text is readable against your background colors
- Keep your logo simple and recognizable
- Test how your colors look on different devices
- Consider accessibility - ensure there's enough contrast between text and background
