What is the Dashboard?

Your MyJobBoard dashboard is the main control center where you manage everything about your job board. It's the first page you see when you log in, and it gives you a quick overview of what's happening.

Dashboard Overview

When you first log in, you'll see several sections:

  • Statistics Cards: Quick numbers showing your total jobs, applications, and other key metrics
  • Recent Activity: Latest jobs posted, applications received, and other important updates
  • Quick Actions: Shortcuts to common tasks like posting a new job

Main Navigation Menu

On the left side of your screen, you'll see the main menu with these sections:

  • Dashboard: Your main overview page
  • Jobs: Create, edit, and manage job postings
  • Applications: View and manage candidate applications
  • Companies: Manage employer companies
  • Users: Manage team members and permissions
  • Settings: Configure your job board settings

Understanding the Statistics

The dashboard shows you important numbers at a glance:

  • Total Jobs: How many jobs you've posted (published and draft)
  • Active Jobs: Jobs currently live on your board
  • Applications: Total applications received
  • New Applications: Applications received recently

Quick Actions

You can quickly access common tasks from the dashboard:

  • Post a new job
  • View recent applications
  • Check your subscription status
  • Access settings
